The signed service agreement and statement of work determine the exact cancellation rights for an engagement. If this page and the signed document differ, the signed document controls, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

1. How to cancel

An authorized client representative must email support@rankcore.ai with the subject "Cancellation Notice." Include the client legal name, signer or authorized contact, project or invoice reference, service being cancelled, and requested effective date.

A reason is optional but may help us resolve service concerns. For account security, we may verify the request using the contact details in the signed agreement.

2. Seven-business-day initial window

A client may request cancellation within seven business days after both parties sign, unless the signed agreement provides a more favorable term. A business day is Monday through Friday, excluding United States federal holidays.

If the client chose to wait until this period ended, work will not begin during the window. If the client separately authorized RankCore to start immediately, the client remains responsible for documented work performed and approved non-cancellable costs through the effective cancellation time. See the Refund Policy for reconciliation details.

3. Fixed-price project cancellation

After the initial window, a fixed-price project may be terminated as allowed by its signed agreement. RankCore will document completed and in-progress work, accepted milestones, client-approved changes, and committed costs. The client is responsible for earned fees and non-cancellable commitments through termination.

After the final account is reconciled and required amounts are paid, RankCore will provide deliverables and transition materials required by the signed agreement. Incomplete drafts, internal tools, licensed components, or third-party materials are handled according to that agreement.

4. Monthly service cancellation

After the initial window, standard monthly services require 30 calendar days' written notice unless the signed agreement specifies another period. Service, usage, and billing continue during the notice period. The parties may agree in writing to a different transition schedule.

RankCore may stop new discretionary work during offboarding while continuing agreed operational or transition tasks. Cancellation of RankCore's management does not automatically cancel the client's AWS, Azure, Cloudflare, Twilio, advertising, authentication, domain, license, or other third-party accounts.

5. When notice becomes effective

Notice is received when it reaches support@rankcore.ai in readable form. We will acknowledge it in writing and identify the expected effective date. If a notice arrives outside normal business processing hours, the response may occur on the next business day.

Until RankCore confirms an accelerated stop or suspension in writing, the client should not assume that active services, cloud resources, telephone usage, campaigns, monitoring, or scheduled work have stopped.

6. Access, data, and offboarding

The client should identify the authorized person who will receive project materials and assume account administration. Subject to the signed agreement, payment status, security checks, and platform limitations, offboarding may include:

  • transfer or removal of administrative access;
  • delivery of agreed source code, credentials, documentation, or data exports;
  • reasonable cooperation with a replacement provider;
  • confirmation of resources RankCore will stop managing; and
  • instructions for client-owned third-party accounts that remain active.

The client is responsible for securing transferred credentials and maintaining copies after delivery. Data retention and deletion remain subject to the agreement, our Privacy Policy, backups, and legal requirements.

7. Final balance

Cancellation does not erase fees already earned, approved expenses, usage charges, or amounts due during a required notice period. RankCore will prepare a final reconciliation. Prepaid, unearned amounts will be returned as described in the Refund Policy; outstanding earned amounts remain payable under the signed agreement.

RankCore does not apply an automatic forfeiture of every remaining prepaid dollar. Any retained amount must correspond to earned fees, agreed commitments, recoverable damages or remedies permitted by the signed agreement and applicable law, or non-cancellable costs.

8. Written confirmation and legal rights

After offboarding and final reconciliation, RankCore can provide a written cancellation or termination confirmation identifying the effective date and any continuing obligations. Confidentiality, payment, intellectual property, limitation-of-liability, dispute, and other provisions designated to survive will continue as stated in the signed agreement.

Nothing in this policy limits a cancellation right or remedy that applicable law does not allow the parties to waive. Questions may be sent to support@rankcore.ai or discussed at (305) 988-2215.
